Paignton Zoo offers unforgettable Father’s Day adventure
This Father’s Day, Paignton Zoo is offering an unforgettable, behind-the-scenes adventure through some of the zoo’s most iconic exhibits, providing visitors a glimpse into the life of a primate keeper.
Under the guidance of the keepers, attendees will tour Monkey Heights and have the chance to get up close with cherry crowned mangabeys, king Colobus, Diana monkeys, and Sulawesi macaques. There will also be an opportunity to feed some of the monkeys.
Guests will also be given the chance to learn more about our troop of baboons and get the opportunity to visit our African Lions and find out how we care for our big cats.

Nadia Gould, Team Leader of Mammals, said:
“This event offers visitors a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes with some of the zoo’s most fascinating and Endangered species. We’ve never offered anything like this before, so this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and the perfect Father’s Day gift for anyone whose dad is an animal lover – the opportunity to come and meet some of our animal dads!”
To top it off, lunch will also be included, as well as a complimentary bottle of Bays Brewery’s themed charity ale ‘Funky Monkey’ to take home.
The ‘Brew at the Zoo’ event is for one day only – Sunday 16 June, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The zoo have advised that pre-booking is essential, and that spaces are limited, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
