EASTER ACTIVITIES TRANSFORM PAIGNTON ZOO INTO SPRING WONDERLAND

Paignton Zoo will offer a range of Easter-themed activities this spring, transforming the Devon wildlife park into what officials describe as a “magical spring wonderland” for the holiday season.

From 5-21 April, visitors can participate in several seasonal events, including storytelling sessions with the Easter Bunny at the zoo’s Ark Theatre. These 30-minute sessions will be held three times daily at 11am, 1pm, and 2:30pm on select dates, with photo opportunities available afterward.

The zoo has also organised a Golden Egg Hunt, challenging visitors to locate six giant eggs hidden throughout the grounds. Each egg contains a letter that, when unscrambled, forms a code redeemable for prizes at the gift shop.

Back by popular demand, ‘Eggs in a Scramble’ returns as a hands-on activity hosted by zoo rangers at the Lakeside Trike area. Visitors will have the opportunity to view real egg artifacts, including several new additions for this year.

Kay Munday, Engagement Officer for Paignton Zoo, commented:

“This year, we’ve created a programme that combines fun activities with opportunities to connect with nature as we welcome the start of spring.”

Most activities are included with standard admission, though the Golden Egg Hunt carries a nominal £1 charge. The zoo recommends booking tickets in advance through their website to ensure availability on preferred dates.
