BRING NATURE HOME WITH PAIGNTON ZOO’S CREATIVE EASTER WREATH WORKSHOP  

As spring blooms across Devon, Paignton Zoo invites creative enthusiasts to celebrate the season with an exclusive Easter Wreath Making Workshop on Saturday, 5 April 2025, from 2pm to 4pm. 

This crafting experience for teens and adults enables participants aged 12 and over to create stunning Easter-themed wreaths using fresh foliage sustainably harvested from Paignton Zoo’s grounds, enhanced with seasonal decorations including hessian ribbon, decorative carrots, and Easter eggs.

Steph Dawson, Business Development Manager for Paignton Zoo, commented: 

“Working with natural materials connects us to the outdoors in a special way. This workshop offers both a beautiful Easter decoration and a creative experience to share with others. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy quality time together while supporting our conservation work.”

 The two-hour session welcomes all skill levels, with expert guidance available throughout. Every participant will take home a handcrafted wreath to brighten their home during the Easter season.

The workshop offers a perfect opportunity for participants, particularly parents with teenage children, to connect with nature through creative expression using materials from the zoo’s natural environment. It’s an ideal activity for quality bonding time while developing creative skills together. Workshop participants are welcome to stay in the zoo after the session concludes.
