Lion Experience

With this unique experience, you will get the chance to feed our beautiful pride of three lions.

You’ll be welcomed by one of our lion keepers and after a short briefing you’ll be feeding our amazing pride of two female lions Semira and Amahle and our male lion Boss. This is a once in a lifetime experience as nothing will prepare you for seeing these magnificent animals up close.

You will be feeding our lions their favourite chunks of meat through the fence. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture these special moments.

This is also your chance to ask the keepers all about our lions and answer any questions you may have.

The below prices include free zoo entry on the day of your booking.

This is a single experience only. A spectator only (over 18 years) ticket is available for £60 (£40 for a member) and includes entry into the zoo. This is for photographing the experience only and this person will not participate in the feed.

There is only one bookable slot per day on Sundays and Tuesdays

Please note that the lion exhibit does not have suitable wheelchair or mobility scooter access
